Assistant Service Coordinator - Edmonton, AB
job description:	Reporting directly to the Service Manager, Edmonton, this working assistant Service Coordinator position is focused on supplying the field service coordination for the Edson Branch and the Vibration Analysts team in addition to: Technical knowledge, performance programs, optimization, troubleshooting and problem solving skills Daily reconciliation of Technician submittals Pronto proficiency Provision of parts and documentation support to technicians Quick response to and resolution of client/technician concerns Assisting Field Service and Refabrication efforts as needed The incumbent will require: Familiarity with the natural gas compression industry A high level of initiative Strong analytical and decision-making skills Exceptional communication/negotiation skills in order to deal with various levels of clients A mechanical aptitude coupled with the ability to plan ahead & direct the work of others is essential The ability to work within a diverse and dynamic environment is critical. The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of achieving results through teamwork, ideally within a service environment. Field Service Technician - Maple Ridge, BC
job description:	Based out of our Simpower branch in Maple Ridge B.C., the successful candidates will be responsible for the service and maintenance of power generators and diesel engines. We require 2 candidates who are either Journeymen or 4th year apprentices in the Millwright, or Heavy Duty trade and who possess some relevant field experience or a strong desire to become a field technician. Senior candidates with at least a 2-3 years experience in the power generation industry with Marine engine application/experience will be given prime consideration. The successful candidates should possess proven troubleshooting abilities in the following areas: Rebuild, repair and tune gas and diesel engines and component parts Trouble shoot mechanical, electrical and cooling problems on all of the company product lines Repair and service marine installations Perform unsupervised out of shop repairs Field service, trouble shooting and repairs to generator sets, control panels and transfer switch gear Able to instruct owners and operators on the correct maintenance and operation of their equipment

job description:	Based out of our Edmonton branch, the successful candidate will be responsible for the performance and vibration analysis on natural gas compressors in the field. We require candidates who are either Journeymen or 4th yr apprentices in the Automotive, Millwright, or Heavy Duty trade and who possess some relevant field experience. The successful candidates should possess: Strong basic computer skills (Word, Excel) for customer report generation Willingness to travel throughout Alberta and northern British Columbia Strong compressor/mechanical/electronics knowledge Strong 4 cycle spark ignited engine knowledge Knowledge of compressor performance fundamentals Familiarity with OEM compressor performance software General knowledge of gas plant and field process and operations Proven troubleshooting abilities The incumbent will require a high level of initiative, strong analytical and decision-making skills, coupled with exceptional communication skills in order to deal with various levels of clients, employees, and managers.
